I’ve battled a serious case of wanderlust since I was a tiny tot, but after spending much of my adult life dreaming of (and subsequently visiting) faraway lands, I decided I would spend a year of my life – my 30th year of life, to be exact – getting better acquainted with the land of the free, home of the brave. I’m certain that every state boasts their own little slice of paradise and I plan to uncover each and every one. (No I’m not going to quit my job to travel the U.S., instead I plan on becoming a pro at efficient, well-planned weekend getaways!)
The interactive map below shows the #50StatesAt30 adventures I’ve had thus far, since August 1st, 2015. I’ll keep adding to it as I conquer more states, adding notes to each destination highlighting must-see attractions, vistas, restaurants and more. And of course, I’ll be documenting my adventures on this blog. (The stars indicate destinations I’ve visited since August 1st, 2015 for business.)
Have you visited a destination you think I’ll enjoy? If so, tell me about it in the comments section!

June 27, 2015 at 12:55 amYes Jessica, you’re absolutely right! And I think the travel needs to be focused around the San Francisco Bay area. 😉

August 30, 2015 at 7:41 pmThere is a little gem of a spot called the Lido Loft that will be available this fall through the end of May in Lido Shores on Florida’s gulf coast. We would love a visit from a wanderer such as yourself.
